You might now be aware of this, but Pope Saint John Paul the Second is kind of a big deal in Poland. Especially in Krakow. Since we all love JPII around this part of the blogosphere, I thought I’d kick the week off right by showing you every single picture I took of him while we were away:
At the John Paul II Center.
Across from the Wawel Cathedral.
Over a door at John Paul II University.
Announcing the location of his pre-Papal lodgings.
In a salt mine.
Currently, in my hallway.
Oh, and in case you aren’t so keen on pictures of pictures of the Pope, here’s what I wore Sunday:
The weather was super gross yesterday — hence the terrible fire escape pictures. You can clearly see my enthusiasm for the rain here.
In other news, I’m thinking that the hair is going to be grown out again — I don’t think I can justify the expense of regular salon visits with school on the horizon. Also, braided updos are so much fun!
Close up so you can see the color blocking thing I was attempting.
To see what everyone else wore Sunday, scoot on over to Fine Linen and Purple.
